SP18-HC is our flagship lightweight engineered panel, combining reclaimed corrugated cardboard with sustainably sourced plywood to deliver a rigid, durable alternative to traditional sheet materials. Manufactured in the UK, it offers significant weight savings while maintaining excellent fixing strength and a natural plywood finish suitable for furniture, displays, exhibitions and interior applications.

Material & specification

Carbon & take-back

Recovered cardboard fibre, hexagonal honeycomb core, kraft facing sheets. Embodied carbon roughly 12.49 kg CO₂e per panel against a plywood reference of 32.10 kg CO₂e — about 61% lower, indicative figure pending third-party EPD.

Every panel ships with a batch ID and a written take-back commitment. At end of life the panel returns to our Lewes workshop for reuse, repurposing, or recycling into the next press run. Take-back is included as standard on every order, no upcharge, no opt-in.

K-value (thermal conductivity): 18mm Sustainable Ply: 0.05 W/m·K (significantly lower than conventional materials, ensuring better thermal performance).
